We are expanding – and I don’t mean just from the quarantine snacks. LOL 🙂
Higher Path Academy has always been focused on “ministry, missions, and leadership,” and as we continue to grow, we want to make sure that we are able to serve those who give so much to serve others.
If you’ve taken a tour of HPA, I’m sure you’ve heard my excitement about turning one of our upstairs rooms into an online recording studio, and this summer we did just that!
We are so excited to announce that in addition to our in-person classes, we are also offering a select few classes online as well:
- Biology II – full year
- Government – fall 2020
- Economics – spring 2021
- Health- spring 2021
Our hope is that we can better serve our families who are unable to take in-person classes for whatever reason. At first, our heart was to reach out to families traveling abroad while serving in the military or on the mission field, but now, we realize that we can hopefully serve even more families that are choosing online learning for other reasons, whether they are local or even in a different state/country.
Students enrolled in these classes will be registered in the same class as those choosing the in-person experience, so all homework/assignments/announcements will be the same. However, “watch anytime” pre-recorded videos will be made available to accompany each module/unit.
Since both class formats will maintain the same pacing, some families are even choosing to start with one format (either online or in-person) with the option of switching over to the other format as space permits, making planning for the upcoming school year even more flexible.
If you are interested in learning more about our class offerings (either in-person or online), please feel free to contact us, and if you have friends or family interested in home school but didn’t realize that online classes were an option, we’d love to hear from them as well.
