About Higher Path Academy
Higher Path Academy is a Christian homeschool tutorial program designed to support families with engaging, teacher-led online classes for grades 6–12. Our heart is simple: to help students grow academically, spiritually, and personally in an encouraging, Christ-centered environment.
At HPA, we believe true education goes beyond textbooks. Our focus is on ministry, missions, and leadership — teaching students not only to master academic skills, but also to develop character, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

What HPA Offers
Higher Path Academy provides fully online middle and high school classes taught by an experienced, passionate teacher. Courses include:

Meet the Teacher
HPA was founded by Leah Salyer, an educator with experience teaching students from Pre-K through college. With years of involvement in youth ministry, worship ministry, and Christian leadership, Leah’s passion is to see homeschool students thrive both academically and spiritually.
She believes students learn best when they feel supported, valued, and challenged in meaningful ways. Through creative teaching methods, real-world applications, and genuine relationships, HPA strives to make learning engaging, practical, and fun.
Partnering With Families
Higher Path Academy exists to come alongside homeschool parents — not replace them. Our goal is to support families by providing excellent instruction while preserving the flexibility and freedom that make homeschooling so special.

A Little More about Leah
Leah Salyer is a teacher, writer, musician, and avid reader, but most importantly, she is passionate about her relationship with Christ. She is married and lives in Greenbrier with her amazing husband and three of the coolest dogs you will ever meet. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys riding her motorcycle, traveling, and cooking.
