Adult Education at Higher Path Academy
Higher Path Academy offers a growing selection of adult education courses designed for lifelong learners who want to grow academically, creatively, and personally—without the pressure of a traditional classroom.
Our adult education classes are primarily online, making them accessible to busy adults with full schedules. For local students, private, in-person lessons may also be available in select subjects.
Current Adult Education Offerings Include:
- Spanish – beginner through conversational levels, designed for real-life use
- Writing Classes – including Creative Writing and Grammar for Writers
- Music – Music Appreciation and Music Theory courses for adult learners
- English as a Second Language – absolute beginner through advanced classes
Courses are intentionally structured in short, focused sessions, making it easy to jump in, build confidence, and continue learning at your own pace. Online courses typically combine pre-recorded instruction with guided practice and optional live support, allowing flexibility without sacrificing quality.
Adult education classes at HPA are open to individuals who have already completed high school and are looking for meaningful, engaging learning opportunities in a supportive environment.

Spanish Classes for Adults
Higher Path Academy offers Spanish classes designed specifically for adult learners, whether you’re starting from scratch or returning to Spanish after years away.
Our Spanish program is structured as a series of focused 4-week courses, allowing students to build skills in manageable, confidence-building steps without committing to a full semester all at once.
Each course aligns with one complete instructional unit and combines structured practice with real-world application.
How the Program Works
- Spanish is offered as seven individual 4-week courses
- Each course may be taken on its own or as part of a full sequence
- Courses are designed to stack naturally, building toward conversational confidence
- All courses are online, with optional live practice sessions and recordings available

Course Length & Cost
- 4 weeks per course
- $150 per course
- IXL access is included at no additional cost
